History

Racers Cafe restores old motocycles in the spirit of the coffee shop racers of the 50's and 60's. We take the style into account for each bike that we touch. While some may require a ground up restore others may just need some tires, bars and a little TLC.

Soon we want to make some of these racers available to the public. This site is one of the first steps in that direction. We will keep you up to date on our builds, local attractions and even have a few parts for those of you building your own out there.

Down on the left we've got Hans, Racers master of metal fabrication. Hans has experience in designing, drafting and pounding out a beautiful product. His machine experience is invaluable to Racers Cafe. His flavor of Cafe Racers designs has brought a unique feeling not only to this site but out on the road as well.

On the right we have a picture of me, Fred. I don't really know what to say about myself. I take care of the webdesign for this site. Other than that I just take up space and try to look important. How am I doing so far? Ok, I also build a bike or two here and there.

At Racers we believe in wide open builder creativity. Although both of us have input on the bikes that come out of our shop, we always leave the decisions up to the builder/designer (aka us). So each bike will have its own flavor from its particular builder.

Hans and Fred.
