Here's the first picture from when we reeled in the cb360. It's sitting in the "storage area" with the engine in pieces to find the cylinders were junk. The bonus was that It did arrive with a freshly painted frame.

The semi-naked rear end. Next to go is the fender and tail light.

Here's the underside of the seat before I started ripping everything appart. I'm not going to risk fiddling with the aged rubbers in the seat pan.

The top side of the orgiinal seat is rusted badly. There is a combination of rust, paint, and adhesive from the foam.

At days end the underside is almost done sans once over at a later time.

Just one quarter of it left to do tomorrow, a couple of little pieces and we're off to cutting and welding on some tail pieces.

So here it is all sandblasted. Next up a trip to the angle grinder. At this point I am still thinking I'll use the whole seat pan.

Here's the pattern of the rear section all cut out and ready to be bent. We use a very high tech machine (my hands) to get the precise bend we need for each project.

Here's a shot of the Honda bare butt.

...And here's it is with the seat pan.

The seat pan is all bent up and went well, but I don't have the pics yet. I did realize that the seat pan will require more reworking than I thought to get the look I want. Basically, the seat pan lost some metal and needs to have more of a pan welded on. I'm headed back out to figure this out.

Got the seat section all bent up how I want it.

Whats left of the seat pan after I hacked it up. I'm trying to keep it so you can just replace the seat if you wanted it back to original. I plan to build the rear section from scratch next time around.

...and we have a seat pan!

Ah ha! Progress.
